Do you store my username and password?
No. Your details are used for a single check against the server you provide and are never written to a database or log file. They're sent once, over HTTPS, directly from our server to the address you entered.
Why does this need a server-side check instead of running in my browser?
Xtream Codes servers generally don't allow direct browser requests from other websites (CORS), so a server-side check is the only reliable way to test the connection.
What does "reachable but not authenticated" mean?
It means the server responded, but the username or password wasn't accepted, or the account isn't active. Double-check your details with your provider.
